Green Turtle Inn - 5.5 miles N on Overseas Hwy at MM 81.5 Oceanside. Originally a roadside café/inn where fisherman, travelers and locals would sample fresh seafood, turtle steak and gourmet soups, the dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will find the prices are still moderate. Uncle's Restaurant - 5 miles N on Overseas Hwy at MM 81 Oceanside. Italian specialties, seafood, wild game, full bar. Great atmosphere, even though no water view. Good for a romantic evening or a family get together.

Little Italy - 7 miles S on Overseas Hwy at MM 68.5 Bayside. The menu offers no real surprises—except maybe conch parmigiana—but that's the whole point. Lunch favorites include caesar salad, chicken marsala, stone crabs, and stuffed snapper for $4.95 to $8.95. The dinner menu offers plenty of variety—including chicken, seafood, veal, and steak.
